Missoni for Target

On September 13, Missoni for Target launches in stores and on-line, and you better believe that when the clock strikes midnight, I'll be loading up my e-cart with all my purchases. The line looks amazing! Definitely one of their best collaborations so far.

Number one on my wish list? THE BIKE! A few weeks back I posted about how I was super excited to come back to Syracuse and buy myself a bike. I think I've finally found my match! I mean, look at it!!
SO CHIC! I can just imagine myself puttering around campus on this gem. Sadly, most reports have it priced at 400 bucks. Guess that's why they call it a wish list. I'll have to keep wishing :(

Some slightly more affordable items on my wish list that I will definitely be purchasing...

1. The cups, the plates, the flatware, oh my!
2. Dress, cardigan, tights and shoes-- all in the signature Missoni print, of course.
3. Scarves! To wear in my hair, around my neck, wrapped around a handbag, as a bracelet... I can't imagine all the things I'm going to be doing with these.

There's also an awesome quilt, some luggage, plenty more clothes and many more accessories. I will be putting of my apartment shopping until the line comes out, but I know I'll be happy I did in the end. The line of 400+ items will be available from September 13 until October 22. Can't wait!

Summer in Syracuse

Summers up in Syracuse are so different from summers in LA. One minute it's sunny and hot, and the next it's pouring rain. I've been having a blast--visiting all my favorite restaurants and bars, hanging out with Mike, going boating (SO FUN!). I'll be back to posting soon :)

New Time Zone

Currently sitting in JFK, waiting to board my flight to Syracuse. I've been here since 4:30 this morning. I've been traveling since 9:20 last night. So. Exhausted. I am so excited to get back to 'Cuse! I can't wait to see all my old friends and my new apartment. But still, my last week in LA was bittersweet. I hated saying goodbye to my parents, brothers, and my little baby Nino.

1. The delicious meal my mommy made me the night before I left -- salmon, asparagus, and mashed potatoes. Yummmmm!
2. My outfit! Silence + Noise blouse, new Paige shorts, new Sam Edelman slingback flats, and Marc Jacobs "Love Story" clutch.
3. Me and Nino!
4. Yummy breakfast -- greek yogurt, splenda, strawberries, bananas, and granola.
5. My new Sam Edelman flats! I have been searching for pointy-toed flats everywhere! I found these and another pair at Nordstrom Rack. They're not the most comfortable, but I love them anyways.
6. Little baby Nino right before I left for the airport. She tried to push her way out the door and follow me when I left. I'll miss her so :(

Étoile by Isabel Marant

I want this Étoile by Isabel Marant red, white and blue threaded jumper so bad! It would look so cute with jeans, leggings, shorts, skirts... anything. It's sold out EVERYWHERE except for one seller on ebay who's selling it for about 315 bucks. No thanks. Guess I'll just have to keep my eye out for it.

Airport style?

Tuesday night, I'll be getting on a jet plane. Wednesday morning, I'll land in a different time zone. A special someone I haven't seen in a few months will be picking me up from the airport, and I want to wow him when I see him. But it's a red eye flight, so I want to be comfortable. Do I change during my layover in JFK? Do I wear something cute and suck it up on the flight? Do I just greet him in leggings and an oversized mens shirt? All of the above?

New Nikes!

My new Nike's came in the mail yesterday! Last week, I ordered the Nike Free Run+ 2's in black and purple. It was my last day at Nordstrom, and I wasn't gonna pass up the discount. I've been waiting patiently for them to get here, and I was so excited when I saw them. They're SUPER comfy and pretty cute.
I was so excited to use them, I went on a 10 pm run--something I never do. But I figured I've got my new kicks and my pup Nino to keep me safe, so why not. I give them a 10/10. SERIOUSLY. I love these shoes. Just the motivation I need to keep running!

nino!

I'm heading back to Syracuse on Tuesday night and I'm super excited. I get to move in to my new house, see a bunch of my friends who are already there and, most importantly, buy a bike! I've been wanting a bike since I came back from Strasbourg (where everyone bikes everywhere), and since I won't have a car my senior year, I figure it's the perfect form of transportation until it starts to snow--then I'll just have to stick to walking or making my roommates drive me places.

Biking is so much fun and great exercise (it's how I managed to not gain a pound while abroad but still eat more carbs than I've ever consumed...ever). And it's becoming more and more fashionable. When I first started to bike last September, I was super nervous because I hadn't been on a bike since I was 10 and was afraid of falling. But I caught on, and soon I could even talk on the phone while biking or bike in heels!
